Love it or hate it, double denim is here to stay. And when it’s shredded – even better!
My denim obsession is taken further with the shredded details, first inspired by Kate Lanphear’s Acne denim jacket (which I’m still lusting over). This one I’m wearing though, being vintage and custom, making it one-of-a-kind, and at a friendlier price tag – by Coal ‘N Terry Vintage.
Teaming it with some lightly shredded boyfriends from Dricoper, and further enhancing the overall blueness of the outfit with some cornflour blue wedges from Wanted Shoes – it’s denim and blue overload. Scaling it back, however with a simple and chic ivory sweater by Secret South, and lifting the casualness with a pair of crystal drop earrings from The Dark Horse Jewellery.
So that’s how you do double denim – or double shredded denim, in this case – for those daring enough to try this much argued way of styling a long loved staple.
