I’m not usually one to get even the slightest bit excited about a particular collection launching – how ‘un-fashion’ of me, right? But when I first saw the H&M fall/winter ’14 Studio, I knew I needed at least something from the collection. Or an outfit. Or maybe, even three?
So here is one of the three looks I’ve selected and put together, in advance of its global launch into stores worldwide on the 4th of September. You know how I love man style dressing with a sexy twist, and playing around with textures, colours and lengths – and that was the goal for this first look, and quite possibly the first ‘real life’ look into the much anticipated collection.
Everything you see on me here is from the collection, minus the shoes (so hard to get my size these days). I love everything about it from the royal blueness of the aviator style jacket, to the metallic sequin-studded texture of the blazer and matching trousers, to the perfect cup size of the crop (normally too tight or too loose). It’s not a case of seeing a photo of it than seeing it person; it’s just as awesome in real life as what the photos depict. And that’s the beauty with H&M – it’s crazy affordable and quality to match its high end competitors.
Can’t wait to show y’all the other two looks!
