You guys have probably noticed by now that we love to trial different cars, so when Honda gave us their new Civic hatch to try out – we couldn’t pass it up.
We’ve had this silver bullet for about a week now and there’s more to it than meets the eye. It might not be as fancy as some we’ve rolled in but it’s definitely among the most practical, convenient, and extremely economic. So economic (being diesel) that we haven’t had to fill up at all, considering the distances driven in the time we’ve had it.
There’s lots to love about the new Civic – the sleek, almost futuristic design, digital dashboard, hidden rear passenger doors and triangular exhausts. As a music junkie I hate nothing more than struggling with connectivity as soon as I start driving – but with the Civic, I plug in my iPhone and it detects my playlist straight away – a rarity in many cars we’ve trialled. No one has time to set that up these days! You just wanna plug-n-go.
The handling is ultra smooth, the reverse camera is super clear and the interior is decent – all black, easy to navigate around and a very comfortable amount of space.
Overall the new Honda Civic hatch is a great medium-sized car – so if you’re looking for fuel efficiency, great looks, practicality and affordability – then this might just be for you!
