We’ve been to the tennis maybe once before, and have played a number of times in the past but the most fun and best way to experience as a spectator is a set up just like what the boy and I experienced – in a contained Lacoste marquee, VIP seating and the ability to eat, drink, and watch the day’s match at our own pace and to our heart’s content.
I opted for the colour of the French flag – navy, white and red and keeping the style oversized and sporty with just the right dose of sex appeal. The whole silhouette, colour palette and the wide brimmed hat were all realms I’d never explored before – but now that I have, I can’t get enough. I love anything that’s confortable but chic, sexy and masculine at the same time. And this look is the personification of what I think defines ‘French Chic’! Topping off with my signature heavy accessorizing in gold and some platform heels, it was maybe a bit overwhelming for the tennis but hey, when in doubt – overdress, right?
Huge thanks to Lacoste for having us, had an amazing day with my boy!
