I’ve recently had the pleasure of working with one of the most iconic Australian designers, and my personal favourite – Josh Goot – on the autumn/winter range. If you’ve been following my daily style diary on Instagram, you’ve seen how I’ve worked these beautiful pieces into various looks – I mean they’re so versatile, how could I not?
I wanted to create looks based on my personal style while maintaining the Josh Goot aesthetic of minimalism with an edge – clean lines, classic cut tailoring and signature statement graphics, particularly on his trademark bomber jackets. Here are three looks based on four staple and key pieces from his beautifully curated winter range.
While the spring/summer range is almost upon us, there’s still plenty of time to have fun with the current range – whether you’re experiencing winter or summer, there’s no denying that Goot’s collections are consistently trans-seasonal.
You all know I’m a sucker for monotones and basics – the white crop and white skirt are absolute staples that I think every girl should own; the floral bomber and floral harness, well – they’re just statement pieces that a girl’s just gotta try…
While some of Josh Goot’s pieces may be statement-making, I wanted to show just a handful of different ways to wear, mix ‘n match and layer the pieces to create various looks that are feminine but bold, minimal but dramatic, and sexy but classy. And these are just a few – you’re only limited by your imagination…
